Slouching Towards Aquarius. Part 1.

“2 men looked out from prison bars. One saw mud, the other saw stars.”
It’s true what Alain de Boutton once wrote : “airplanes are great midwives for thought”. And what words to rest on for now. A simple work of the mind. Mud or stars? You choose.
Amongst the coffee bean air and anxious duty free, the antiquity of Vienna seems an age away as the winter rain smudges the world outside. The mind is indeed its own place, and itself can make a heaven of hell, or a hell of heaven.
Choose: Vienna. Or Rain. Or Vienna.

Always try and pretend to be where you really want to be. No matter how far away that seems to be for you at the time. Trust, hope and spirit will carry you there eventually.

Good things.
